Simple Splendor: Shabbat Under the Sukkah

Each night of Sukkot is an opportunity to dine outdoors, gathering with friends of all ages under a cozy temporary canopy. On the fifth night of Sukkot, the JCC East Bay invites you to celebrate the splendorous simplicity of art, ritual, food, and music.
5:30 -- Sukkah Glamour
Make & hang traditional paper crafts and organic decorations
6:00 -- Holiday Rituals
Shabbat and Sukkot blessings for Wine, Candles, Lulav (Palm) & Etrog (Citrus)
6:30 -- Harvest Dinner
Vegetarian buffet with seasonal flavors and a Mediterranean twist
7:00 -- Learning & Singing
Interactive after-dinner discussion over wine & dessert! OR (for those with a different appetite) join a family-friendly all-ages sing-along.
