Broadway's Next Hit Musical / Wunderstudies

Every song is fresh. Every scene is new. Every night is different. It's all improvised and it's all funny.

The New York Times calls Broadway's Next H!T Musical "Hilarious!" Time Out NY says "At last! A musical of, for, and by the people."

Broadway's Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical & musical awards show. Master improvisers gather made up song suggestions from the audience and one by one present their nominated scene and song for the Broadway's Next Hit Musical Award. After all cast members have presented, the audience votes for their favorite and in the 2nd half, the cast then uses that winning song to create a full blown improvised musical - complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, plot twists galore and the recreation of the winning song. That's right...the improvisers have to REMEMBER their improvised song.

BNHM has been seen recently at The Triad, Tribeca Film Festival, at the New York Musical Theater Festival and on tour all over America. Under the direction of improv veterans Rob Schiffman and Deb Rabbai, TheaterWeek has hailed the show as "brilliant" and The New York Post called Broadway's Next H!T Musical "remarkable."

Wünderstudies is Pittsburgh's first all-musical improv troupe.

We perform fully improvised hour-long musical theater shows based on a title suggested by the audience. We have both guitar and keyboard accompanists improvising with a cast of 7 talented performers, who act and sing through a single comedic narrative.

We typically perform monthly at the Steel City Improv Theater on the North Side of Pittsburgh.
