JOHNNY ROGERS SHOW : 2 Shows : Tributes to Rock n' Roll and to Country Legends
Johnny Rogers has been voted the # 1 tribute Artist in America. He is best known for his amazing portrayal of Rock Pioneer Buddy Holly. He also does a Tribute show to the Legends of Country. He is bringing both shows to the Red Barn over two nights. Accompanying Rogers is guitar legend and Grammy Winner, Tommy Allsup. It was with Tommy that Ritchie Valens won the famous coin toss which put Ritchie on the plane with Buddy Holly & the Big Bopper that then crashed;the "day that the music died." To meet Allsup is to touch a part of music history. Performing on stage with some of the biggest names in music,Rogers has entertained 4 U.S. presidents and count them among his many fans. His stage presence echoes the King of Rock n' Roll and the guitar licks of Chet Atkins and Jimi Hendrix.
