This popular show is based on the popular comic strip "Little Orphan Annie." It tells the story of the best-loved spunky Depression-era orphan. She is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history. This version of the show features a young cast of actors, singers and dancers under the direction of Elly-nominated director/choreographer Jennifer Moore. It will bring smiles to your face and is very suitable for viewing by children.
