Event
La Flor de la Chukirawa
A news reporter interviews a peasant mother about the death of her son who fought in Iraq as a member of the American army. This unleashes a tug of war between the two women with different lives, points of view and realities; the dialog reflects also the reality of the Ecuadorian people on the present times. The son lives through the memories of the mother in the same way the audience experiences the drama through visual and poetic images and movement, suspended in between tradition and a near future that never arrives.
Note: Show is presented in Spanish.
