Employment Law for Nonprofits and Small Businesses
This training for attorneys (2.5 CLE credit available); nonprofit leaders and small business owners will cover common employment legal issues that nonprofits and small businesses face, including independent contractor vs. employee; wage & hour worker issues such as laws relating to minimum wage and overtime, and who falls under those laws (including volunteers and interns); what those laws require; and other current labor law issues that are relevant to nonprofits (unionization of nonprofit workers, social media rules and other current issues).
