PLACAS
MACLA/Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana is pleased to present Placas, a new bilingual production written by published poet, performance artist, playwright and well known spoken word artist Paul S. Flores that weaves together the story of three generations of a family who lived through the El Salvadoran civil war, their subsequent migration to the United States, and the resulting formation of immigrant gangs in California's inner cities.
A public staged reading will be held at MACLA on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8pm in the Castellano Playhouse.
Tickets are priced at $10 (at the door, as available), $8(in advance).
