Boston District Implant Program
Optimizing Implant Esthetics & Immediate Occlusal Loading Presented by Dr. Craig Misch
Friday, November 20, 2015 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Newton Marriott, Newton, MA
Immediate placement and restoration of a "single-unit" dental implant in the esthetic zone offers tremendous upside over the traditional Brånemark/two-stage approach, including soft tissue management/papilla maintenance and patient expectations. In this lecture Dr. Misch will use multiple single-unit implant cases to explore best practices for predictable outcomes. Full-arch "Immediate Occlusal Loading" will also continue to increase in popularity. Its principles are well founded and qualified patients can be located in virtually every dental practice in America. Who are these patients in your practice and are you prepared to care for them? Techniques, recent treatment planning advances and implant designs that help to make these two protocols possible and predictable will be explored.
Learning objectives: - Improve your implant/prosthetic results - Immediate implant provisionalization - Maintain stable crestal bone and gingival levels - Avoid peri-implantitis
