Following the explosive success of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf, UpRise! Productions revives the Hip Hop Theater Explosion to finish out their Black Voices Series: A Celebration of the African-American Spirit.

Since it began in 2008, the Hip-Hop Theater Explosion has presented some of the best new hip-hop poetry, dance, music, and theater in Austin. Don't miss the show that has launched the work of dozens of young artists and showcased the work of star performers.

This installment of Hip-Hop Theater Explosion features Outta Kontrol, Dancers from Tapestry Dance Company, Cipher, DaShade Moonbeam, Ebony Stewart, Mike Whalen, the return of the original Public Offenders! and many, many, more.
