Hinge is a place easier to show you than to explain, won't you come take a look inside? Consider this a train-ticket; welcome aboard.
You need no technology or prior experience to play, no special skills or equipment, and all ages are welcome to attend. Come join our crew and step behind the scenes.
Your journey will take approximately two hours and include an intermission.
We recommend wearing black, comfortable clothes, though it is not essential.
The closest BART station to the Great Star Theater is Montgomery st.

Otherworldly and unforgettable, the Vespertine Circus returns with its latest mind-bending show: HiNGE. Featuring a talented cast performing acrobatics, juggling, clowning, aerial artistry and puppetry, the Vespertine Circus draws you in to the magical realm of a touring circus where you can choose to become part of the show. The troupe's exceptional storytelling and fantastic character-driven performances have delighted an ever-growing legion of fans on the west coast. The show is part circus, part interactive theater and all high-energy fun at the Great Star Theater in Chinatown.
Although there are elements of gameplay and interactivity, you do not need to participate in order to attend (there is plenty happening if you just want to watch).
This show is appropriate for all ages.

Yes, Patron of the Arts tickets are tickets to the event and include admission. Seating is open, and there are periods of the event when you can change where you are sitting and roam around, so there is no separate section for differently tiered tickets. The only incentive is to assist with the show's ongoing development and keep our base-ticket prices accessible for those who can't afford admission to more expensive immersive theater |
