A Walk through the Universe
A Walk through the Universe in Tilden Park, Berkeley, Sun, Sep 27, 9 am to noon. Join Juan-Carlos Solis for an intimate look at the ecology of interdependence in Tilden Park.
The program begins with an Awareness Circle led by Debra McKnight Higgins, using simple stretches and silence to prepare for a sensitive and reflective Sunday morning walk. We will tune our senses to the big picture and the tiniest details. As we see, hear, touch, and smell nature all around us, Juan-Carlos will weave our observations into the central theme, the interdependence of life. Debra will lead the Closing Circle, with reflections from all and a listening meditation.
All proceeds support Green Sangha's programs of Mindful Leadership Training, Inner & Outer Restoration at Green Gulch, and actions such as Rethinking Plastics. Participants will receive a copy of our booklet, "A Quick Guide to Awakened Action."
Tickets are $30; Basic members $20; Sustaining Members free. Not a member? Join Green Sangha today: http://greensangha.org/donate/.
