NYC Honey Week: Honey-Themed Dinner at Edgemere Farm
With NYC HONEY WEEK celebrating its fifth year at the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk, it just makes sense for Rockaway's urban farm to get in on the action and host our own honey-themed dinner. And who better to call in as chefs than the folks at Whit's End? Whitney Aycock, who's highlighted Edgemere Farm's produce all season, may be known about town as the pizza nazi, but for us he's a close farm friend and one of our favorite chefs on the peninsula.
While we normally host our weekly dinners on Thursday, this week we'll be serving up this not-to-be missed honey dinner on Friday, September 11th instead. And with Honey Fest the next day on Saturday, Sept 12th you can turn this weekend into your first post-Labor Day stay-cation at the beach.

To minimize the waste our farm produces, we ask you to bring to the farm your own dish to eat off of. We hope you'll help us form a beautiful medley of plateware, starting with one of your favorite (and reusable!) dishes. We'll even wash it off for you at the end of the night.
