Freshcraft Upslope Food & Beer Pairing Dinner w/ Trout Unlimited

Join us on Wednesday, 2/29/2012 for a special food and beer pairing dinner featuring beers from Upslope Brewing Co. Tickets will be $60 and a portion of the proceeds will go to support Colorado Trout Unlimited.
(Gratuity is not included in ticket price)

We will have five seating times, every half hour starting at 6 pm with the last seating happening at 8 pm. There are a very limited number of tickets available, please do not hesitate to get yours.

Welcome Beer: Upslope Craft Lager
"Snowmelt infused & river ready, our Colorado-style session beer honors its upstream roots through the 1% for Rivers Campaign. One percent of revenues from the sales of Upslope Craft Lager will be donated to Colorado Trout Unlimited in order to protect watersheds statewide. Protecting snowmelt at its source is not only good for trout; it's also good for Colorado beer"

Course 1: Wild Bass ceviche with pineapple, chile and soba.
Paired with: Upslope Pale Ale
"Brewed with Patagonian hops, high quality Rahr malts, snowmelt and yeast, this clear, crisp, dry pale ale is our signature beer. It's refreshing characteristics, and signature dry finish, blends smooth malt flavors with a unique spicy hop bitterness."

Course 2: Local bison ravioli, fennel broth, smoked paprika with an Irish cheddar biscuit.
Paired with: Upslope Foreign Style Stout

Course 3: Local cheese spotlight featuring Avalanche, Mouco, and Haystack.
Paired with: Upslope Rye IPA
"An American Style IPA brewed using malted rye. Citrus and pine aromas battle it out with the spicy aroma of malted rye. This beer has a round body which highlights spicy rye flavors and creamy texture"

Course 4: MacFarlane Farms pheasant breast, smoky baked fava beans, tossed escarole and crispy sunchoke.
Paired with: Upslope Brown Ale

Course 5: Peach cobbler, kriek syrup, brandy espresso quenelle.
Paired With: Upslope/Denver Beer Company Belgian Chocolate Cherry Stout
