Arleen Schloss: After the Last Play at A's
Arleen Schloss is an experimental artist who left her mark on the downtown New York art scene. This event honors her work and legacy as a pioneering artist, director, sound poet, curator, and event producer. Her loft space A's was a center of experimentation and innovation from the 1970's to the 1990's, filled with readings, exhibitions, performances, and music. As part of the loft art scene, A's served as an incubator for creative ideas and as a breeding ground for many working artists today.
