A man, violently shot and left for dead, awakens from a coma with no memory of who he is or where he came from. Nursed back to health by mysterious monks, he sets out on a path of enlightenment and inner peace. His past comes to him in flashes, sudden and unexpectedly, as does his inexplicable talent for beating up thugs. But before he can figure out what all this means, he finds himself on the run from a implacable foe who is trying to shoot him, with bullets.
