Art After Dark Fall Dance Festival
Art After Dark Fall Dance Festival is a festival celebrating contemporary dance in New York City. This festival shows different choreographers and their particular dance style. The show will be located at the C.O.W Theater 21 Clinton Street on Oct. 9, 2015 at 8pm. Tickets online at $15.00 and at the door $20.00.
The host of the festival is Descavich Choreography. Other dance companies are: JKilpatrick Dance, Natalie Johnson Dance, and Alison Cook Beatty Dance.

Descavich Choreography is a company of dance artists that exemplifies athletic movements, while exploring and testing the boundaries of theatrical dance works. We collaborate with artists involved with media, fashion, and music. We explore movement inspired by the environment and the human condition. We will be presenting "Tunel Oscuro" along with our new piece, "O, Mother..."

JKilpatrick dance is led by Jessica Kilpatrick. A dancer, performer, and dance teacher. She is presenting a work, "Amazing Grace" which premiered on ballet students at the Joffrey Ballet School.

Natalie Johnson Dance is presenting "Generative Grammar." This playful, complex, and quirky duet that contrasts a tight, irreverent gestural quality with a virtuosic lusciousness in turn. The two dancers weave in and out of unison, defining their uniqueness while demonstrating a bond that connects them throughout the work.

Alison Cook Beatty Dance is presenting a duet called "Lifeline." Alison Cook Beatty Dance (formally ACB Dance Company) was founded in 2012. The company is a classically based modern dance company exploring the universal human condition through expansive and emotionally driven movement grounded in American modern dance. The healing and transformational power of the arts inspires the company to work with diverse groups within the community, in addition to collaborative efforts with other artists.

Praevado Dance Collective was started in 2014. Under the direction of Holly Maddock, this group of dancers came together to share their passion for performance art. The company has performed throughout New York in venues such Citigroup Theatre, Dixon Place, and the Brooklyn School of Music. They have performed in cities along the East Coast in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia;  as they continue to branch out, they are traveling to cities as far west as Phoenix, Arizona.
