You don't have to give up the funny to get the substance!
It is often said that improv lacks the depth of scripted theatre. In this eight-week class, we will dispel the common misconception that one must actively TRY to be funny in order to succeed in the spontaneous creation of comedic scenes. In utilizing Meisner's Repetition and Independent Activity work to ground your improv, you will discover that there is nothing funnier than human beings simply relating and reacting to each other.
Some improv or acting experience required.
