The Morbid Anatomy Museum and the New York and Long Island Chapter of the Horror Writers Association Announce a Night of Literary Readings by NY Horror Authors

The New York and Long Island Chapter of the Horror Writers Association is proud to present Night Terrors, an evening of chilling readings and gruesome goodies in partnership with the Morbid Anatomy Museum. Join us in the spirit of Halloween as local authors serve up a selection of bloodcurdling tales, chilling excerpts, and horror trivia giveaways. Meet the authors, who will be available to answer questions and sign books, and visit the museum to explore the intersection of death, beauty, and that which falls between the cracks. Admission is $8.00 and may be purchased at the door.

Authors appearing include:

Marc L. Abbott, The Dead Syndicate: Trial of the Archnemesis (whoismarclabbott.com/)

      Daniel Braum (danielbraum.com)

James Chambers, The Engines of Sacrifice and Three Chords of Chaos (jameschambersonline.com)

New York Times Best-Selling author and a Morbid Anatomy Museum founder Tonya Hurley, ghostgirl series, The Blessed trilogy: Precious Blood, Passionaries, Hallowed (tonyahurley.com)

Steven Van Patten, Brookwater's Curse (brookwaterscurse.com)

Founded in 1985, the Horror Writers Association (www.horror.org) exists to promote and protect the careers of professional horror writers, to mentor those seeking to enter their ranks, and to raise the profile of the horror genre in the publishing industry and among readers. The HWA gives the annual, iconic Bram Stoker Awards for Superior Achievement, named in honor of Bram Stoker, author of the seminal horror work, Dracula, and organizes StokerCon, an annual conference for horror writers.
