Short Stories in Song
This concert features a moving collection of choral works that each tells its own miniature story. Partsongs by Holst and Vaughan Williams, Kodaly's "Jesus and the Traders," a gorgeous setting of Thomas Hardy's poem "The Choirmaster's Burial" by modern Swedish composer Marten Jansson, and other works, round out this season of Stories in Choral Song.
