We've all heard the Hippocratic quote "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food" - but what does that really mean in practice? Join Anna Russ from Anna Apotheca to discover the importance of seasonal and local cuisine based upon the principles of Ayurveda. Each guest will learn their ideal foods, preparations and combinations to optimize digestion and health. We will provide samples and recipes for all of the dishes covered.
Join us for our Slow Food for Thought event at Anna's Westside Studio. Members can attend for only $5 a person to cover a handful of ingredients and supplies. Not a member? Not a problem!
