In Person: MIMI STERN-WOLFE
Pianist/Concert Producer of the Benson Aids Series Concerts

Every year, eccentric East Village pianist Mimi Stern-Wolfe produces and performs
a concert of music composers who were lost to HIV/AIDS. Now in it's 20th year, Mimi
and her small ensemble (2 vocalists and a cellist) painstakingly rehearse several numbers
ahead the World AIDS Day concert program. Several of the musical works from the early era
of HIV/AIDS in New York are presented amongst several moving recollection with lovers,
friends and collaborators. (USA, 2010, 66 min., color, Blu-ray Directed by Rohan Spong)
