PHLash: A Mob Story
Presented in the style of documentary theatre, PHLash: A Mob Story examines the youth-fueled flash mobs that rocked Philadelphia over the course of 2011, and the aftermath that followed. Composed solely from excerpted interviews, PHLash boldly presents myriad points of view about the power of the people to enlighten, entertain and terrorize through assembly. A stunning portrait of a community in turmoil, PHLash seeks not to oversimplify, but rather embrace the complex tapestry that is Philadelphia today.
