PATIENCE, OR BUNTHORNE'S BRIDE
Come and see Rapturous Maidens spurn the stout and fleshly men of the 38th Dragoon Guards as they pursue aesthetic transfiguration through two poets - the wild and passionate Bunthorne, then the "Apostle of Simplicity" Grosvenor. Unfortunately, both poets are in love with Patience the milkmaid, who is just beginning to learn the ways of love
and finds them quite confusing - unlike Lady Jane, who has much experience and is desperately trying to offer her (over-)ripe charms to Bunthorne. How will it all be resolved?? Who will marry whom?? And above all, who will be the subtitle to the operetta - Bunthorne's bride??
All will be revealed when the annual Follen Church tradition - begun over 50 years ago by Louise Curtis and Marilu Nowlin - continues with the Youth and Junior Choirs' production of "Patience, or Bunthorne's Bride" that will take the stage at Follen Church (755 Massachusetts
