Which Way Forward?:
Direct Action, Electoral Politics, and Other Paths to Progressive Change in America
Inspired by the nationwide and international Occupy movement, this program will explore how activists can devise effective strategies and to bring about a more just, peaceful and humane society.

ROCKY ANDERSON, former mayor of Salt Lake City and Justice Party candidate for US President; MARGARET FLOWERS, Past chair, Maryland chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program and an organizer of Occupy-Washington DC; DAVE WELSH, delegate to the SF Labor Council and an organizer of West Coast labor support for the ILWU Longview port workers; and TOM GALLAGHER; peace activist, former Massachussetts State Representative and chair of Progressive Democrats of America-San Francisco. The panel will be moderated by ROSE AGUILAR, host of the popular KALW program "Your Call." A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.
Admission: $10 (nobody turned away for lack of ability to pay)
