Weekend Dressmaking Course - 1950's Style Skirt
This dress making class is ideal for someone who has as little previous sewing skills, you should be comfortable using a sewing machine and have made simple projects such as cushions or bags.
Key skills learned throughout this course;
Measuring, adjusting and pattern cutting
Fabric Properties & grain lines
Fitting a concealed zip
Hemming and finishing
Class sizes are kept small to ensure everyone has plenty of attention and guidance.
By the end of this weekend course you will have a fabulous made to measure skirt and will be able to follow a dress making pattern to make many more clothes for yourself.
You will be contacted before the class starts to let you know what fabrics etc you require, machines are provided but bring your own if you wish!
Returning customers are eligible for a 15% discount.
