Join us for the inaugural concert of the UMass Lowell String Ensemble. This new and dynamic string orchestra will present music by Brahms, John Williams and other composers in a new and engaging concert format which is on the cutting edge of performing arts culture. The evening will also show case the cathartic and emotional Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber which challenges both performer and listener to contemplate the deepest, boldest emotions. We invite you to share this extraordinary musical event with us in the intimate Fisher Recital Hall for a front-row view of exhilarating music making.
