Tap Dancer Ryan P. Casey: Tall Tales

Named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" for 2015 and one of Boston's "25 Most Innovative People Under 25," tap dancer Ryan P. Casey uses his towering, 6'8" talent to present brand new choreography (and some old favorites) that is thoughtful, comical, and inventive. Incorporating poetry, humor, and more, Casey playfully lampoons his height, doffs a top hat to idol Fred Astaire, and even tries his hand (and feet) at basketball all to a soundtrack including Barbra Streisand, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Count Basie. Peppered with musings on life and dance, "Tall Tales" takes tap dancing to new heights for this "improbably tall tap fave" (The Boston Globe).
