Wingéd - MCC

Lustig Dance Theatre (LDT) goes ethereal in its new work, Wingéd, premiering on February 26 at 3:30pm at Middlesex County College in Edison. The creation of Wingéd is a truly collaborative effort featuring choreography by Artistic Director Graham Lustig, Artistic Associate Bat Abbit, Bradley Shelver, and company dancers Norbert de la Cruz and Laney Engelhard. A professional contemporary ballet company based in New Brunswick, LDT is committed to the creation of new work and debuted in 2010 to critical acclaim. Wingéd explores man's connection to flight and will be presented in three consecutive segments encapsulating images from Icarus to angels.

Ticket holders are invited to join Artistic Director Graham Lustig for a pre-show discussion at 2:30. Buy your tickets early and save as prices will increase at the door.

LDT appears at Middlesex County College thanks to a special collaboration with Nadine Heller, Chair of the Middlesex County College Visual Arts Department. The performance is also funded in part by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders/Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission with assistance thru a grant provided by New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State.
