Instruments of Change dinner

On May 4, 2012 the West Seattle Food Bank will be hosting our 5th annual Instruments of Change Dinner and Fundraiser. This special event brings together neighbors to support the West Seattle Food Bank and to celebrate the achievements of this organization in the community. Attendance and support of this event from the public will ensure that the West Seattle Food Bank can continue to serve as a positive instrument of change in the West Seattle Community.

The evening will start at 5:30 with an hour and a half of mingling (with beer, wine and appetizers) and vying for prizes and silent auction items in the GAME ROOM (new this year!) followed by dinner and speaking program at 7:00 pm. Dinner will be followed by our annual Funds for Food donation ask and, of course, the Dessert Dash!

We are excited to present Ron Sims as this year's keynote speaker. Ron Sims is the former King County Executive and also served as the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2011. He is well-known for his work in creating affordable housing in King County and making our neighborhoods stronger and safer.
