Place Settings III: A Dinner at Winter Hill Farm

Our third annual Farm Dinner with our good friends at Winter Hill Farm in Freeport. Those of you who have attended this dinner in the past have come to know it as an unmissable cap to a Maine summer. We have every intention of making this the best one yet!

Steve, Sarah and the rest of the folks at Winter Hill are just the best. They produce an exceptional variety of delicious organic vegetables and fruits, and raise Randall and Jersey cattle, Berkshire pigs and more -- all done right, with kindness and care. As many of their devoted customers know, they also make extraordinary yogurt and cheeses from their cows' milk.

Rosemont chef Brad Messier will team up with the Winter Hill Farm crew to design a menu that shows off the beauty of these raw materials.

(There is a covered option in case of rain: a covered post-and-beam shed with open walls which preserve much of the al fresco experience.)
