Young Farmers, Young Chefs Series: Say Hay Farm
Please join Slow Food Yolo for the next in our Young Farmers, Young Chefs Series:
Chris Hay of Say Hay Farms will take us on a guided tour of his newest property at 19182 County Road 87B, Esparto, then we will sit down in the shade of the barn to share a delicious farm-fresh dinner prepared by chefs Juan and Tobi Barajas of Savory Cafe in Woodland.
In the spirit of Slow Food, please bring your own dishware, utensils, and cloth napkins, for a zero-waste event. Guests are also invited to bring a bottle of local wine or other drinks to enjoy with dinner if they so desire. All food will be provided.
Guests are strongly encouraged to wear flat closed-toe shoes, and appropriate clothing for walking around and engaging on a farm.
