Indian Cooking Class at Book Larder
I crave Indian food year-round, but even more intensely in winter. And while I wish I could just pop up to Vancouver whenever I like to eat at the magnificent Vij's, alas, that is not an option. So when that craving hits I pull out one of Vij's cookbooks and concoct a reasonable substitute. Local cooking instructor Archana Verma will share a few of her favorite recipes from this approachable book, answer your questions, and generally demystify this sometimes intimidating cuisine. And you'll get to enjoy the closest thing you'll find to a meal at Vij's in Seattle.
