By popular demand, Story League returns to Busboys and Poets for another of our famous funny-story contests!
We will hear 12 pre-selected stories + 1 name drawn from the pumpkin at random. NO THEME, just be funny. NO JUDGES: Audience picks 1 winner for funniest story of the night, who receives $100 and is guaranteed a spot in our $500 Winter Championship at the DC Improv Comedy Club!
NOTE: This event is expected to sell out well in advance of the night.
Doors will open at 7:30 PM. No cash tickets will be sold at the event; pre-sale only. Busboys and Poets Brookland is 1.5 blocks from BrooklandCUA Metro Station (Red Line) at 625 Monroe Street NE, across the street from the main CUA entrance. There is also a large parking garage in the same building as the restaurant. Table service, with full menu and drinks, is available during the event, which is in the Pearl Bailey Room.
