The Art of Acting Studio's professional company the Harold Clurman Lab Theater presents the Los Angeles premiere of Jose Rivera's 1993 Obie Award winning play Marisol. Directed by Don K. Williams, Marisol tells the story of Marisol Perez, a young New Yorker thrust into the throes of a battle between a senile God and his most trusted Angels. As the world collapses around her Marisol is forced to make her way from the hell of the Bronx to the heaven of Brooklyn in order to find her best friend. The Twilight Zone meets Gabriel Garcia Marquez in this perverse, funny, tragic and hopeful journey through an apocalyptic New York City.
