Eye on Artist: Pierr Morgan
Join us for Imagine: A Playful Process, a slide presentation and talk by Pierr Morgan about her history, influences and artistic practice, followed by a reception and book signing with the artist accompanied by light food and beverages in the Orientation and MESA Galleries.
Pierr Morgan is a painter who writes and illustrates children's books. Among her illustrated works that will be featured are The Squiggle, Cool Time Song, Someone Says, and ABCers.
A Seattle native, Morgan studied illustration and painting at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Work on display in the BIMA galleries includes original book illustrations, gouache and mixed media paintings, and archival pieces from her personal collection.
