Mark employs his nonsensical, sensual, and surreal sensibilities in a one man show that combines live and multi-tracked vocals, the synthetic Tritone Orchestra, hats, toys and audience participation.
MWE
MWE plays Turkish and Balkan folk music distilled through a modern sensibility. Members of this woodwind ensemble perform on clarinet, the double-reeded zurna, dumbek, riqq, and Davul, a shoulder slung marching drum. Their shows are loud, wild and raucous affairs that have been known to rouse audiences to their feet. They've performed at Yoshi's and Ashkenaz.
