Crosscut Courage Awards
Join civic, cultural, and business leaders at the third annual Courage Awards to celebrate the boldest among us that have innovated despite criticism, shown selfless leadership, inspired others, or taken risks to successfully break gridlock. This annual fundraising breakfast will feature keynote speaker Tim Egan, American author and journalist, as well as a panel discussion with honorees moderated by journalist and historian Knute Berger.
As the Pacific Northwest's reader-supported, independent, not-for-profit electronic journal, support from the Courage Awards enables Crosscut to provide readers with the facts and analysis they need to intelligently participate in civic discourse on politics, culture, and technology.
Registration and networking: 7:00am

Crosscut's foundational belief is that an informed public is essential if we are to find good solutions to the civic and political challenges of our time.
With its award winning journalism, Crosscut has become a highly trusted and valued media source in the Northwest at a time when traditional media sources are faltering. It has also become an important forum where writers and citizens with many peoples of view can report and discuss local issues and events.
