After seven years languishing on Pennsylvania's death row for a crime he did not commit, Lyle Dawkins has been released and has relocated to New Jersey with his family. More than anything, Lyle wants a nice lady to share his new freedom with and the single life in Jersey is hard enough without a difficult-to-explain seven-year gap in your recent past. In this dark(er) comedy, Lyle learns to navigate his exoneration in a changed world of bizarre electronic gadgets, years of missed baseball stats and trades, and online dating nightmares.
