Tom's an average guy in love love with Helen, a larger-than-average woman. And while that may not matter to Tom, it seems to matter an awful lot to a couple of his co-workers. But who cares what they think, right? Right? In his typical fashion, Labute refuses to pull any punches as he probes our endless obsession with "beauty"--and just how ugly it has made us.
