The first seating sold out in less than six hours. So we went ahead and added a second one. Cheers.
It's time we conquered the final frontier of booze and sweets. The Recommended Daily brought you cookies and beer and then whiskey and donuts. We heard you. And here it is: Cake & Champagne.
We're partnering with Ca Va to help celebrate Kansas City Local Week with a cake and champagne pairing event on Tuesday, August 18, at 9 p.m.
In this tiny seminar, we're pairing three bites of cake with three (three-ounce) pours of bubbly. You'll also get a bit of knowledge about champagne to help up your at-home pairing game.
