Renaissance Splendour! Radiant A Cappella Gems
Our fifth season opens with a concert of brilliant jewels from the Renaissance. Every work shimmers with light and warmth, from Palestrina's transparent Sicut cervus to Byrd's transcendent Ave verum corpus to Sweelinck's translucent Psalm 150. Inspiring works by Josquin, Gombert, and Monteverdi complete this concert of dazzling, luxurious vocal polyphony.
