Get Started with Word Press for Everyone and How to Work with a Word Press Developer and Keep Everyone Happy

WordPress is everywhere these days, not just as a blogging platform, but as an excellent Content Management System. If you're ready to start blogging as means for self-promotion, or if you have clients who want to update their own websites, this is a great time to start looking at WordPress. It's free, open source, versatile for any kind of website and accessible to a broad range of skill levels. We'll look at how to get started with WordPress for your self, how to create a simple site for your clients, or how to work with a developer for more complex projects. Additionally, we'll look at the limitations and challenges within WordPress and deconstruct some of its language so that everyone in the project stays happy.

Erik Fadiman is the Interactive Design Instructor at Seattle Central Creative Academy. He wears two hats as WordPress designer/developer. He really likes working with other designers and bringing their designs to life in WordPress.
