Cedric L. Berdine Scholarship Fundraiser & Concert
About the Event . . .
On December 3, National recording artist and Caston High School graduate Heather Ramsey will host a celebration memorializing her long-time teacher and musical mentor, Cedric Berdine, who taught at Caston High for generations. Heather marks the release of her second album, "Peace Like a River," and will perform live with her band. 100% of ticket sales after expenses will go directly to the Fulton County Community Foundation, who administer the scholarship fund set up by Fulton F & AM Lodge #665 in Mr. Berdine's memory.
The event will also host a raffle and silent auction to raise additional funds for the scholarship. Ramsey will have CDs available for sale, with 20% of all sales also benefitting the fund. Arranger, composer, author and world-renowned pianist Dr. Monika Herzig will accompany Ramsey, and will also have books and CDs available that evening.
Tickets are $10 per person and will be available at will call starting 30 minutes prior to the event. Special thanks to the event sponsors: Twelve Mile Veterinary Clinic, Virga Smith Accounting, and Smith, Sawyer Smith Insurance. If you are interested in participating in the silent auction or raffle, please contact Melissa Gutierrez at 317-426-8543.
