Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers
The lovely bride of the King of Baratiria comes to Venice to meet the man she was pledged to in childhood. She learns her young prince was mixed up with a gondolier's son, so they must rule together until it is proven which is king! This delightful mix-up of Spanish royalty and Venetian gondolieri and contradine is filled with some of the most tuneful and dancable music in the gilbert and Sullivan canon. How will they resolve this complicated situation?
