This is a 'war story' of compassion and hope that gives audiences a different perspective on the war in Afghanistan, one that the mainstream media fails to report. The filmmakers, with unprecedented, uncensored access, traveled with U.S. and international forces "Outside the Wire" to capture views of never before seen locales and institutions such as schools, orphanages, a women's safe house, and a governmental jirga.
