Patricia Barker and Grand Rapids Ballet presents: MOVEMEDIA | Seattle
MOVEMEDIA | Seattle features internationally recognized choreographers.

Written & Forgotten
Annabelle Lopez Ochoa
WRITTEN & FORGOTTEN is an exploration on returning to the long-time memories of childhood. How much gets distorted through the eyes of youth and innocence?

Slight
Penny Saunders
Slight is a study in illumination, intercepting light as it flickers and glows, creating shadows and shapes produced by bodies coming between rays of light. The outcome is an all-encompassing sensation that the whole stage is moving, breathing, and living.

The Envelope
David Parsons
A social commentary about loss of identity and individuality in quasi-efficient and highly ordered social structures such as a contemporary office environment. Whatever valuable content the envelope conceals, its delivery is a complex and convoluted journey fraught with questions of authority, accountability, risk and reward.

Beethoven's 5th
Mario Radacovsky
Beethoven's 5th Symphony is the masterwork of a genius. Radacovsky's choreography captures the sheer force of Beethoven's music. Strikingly dramatic with superb interpretation, Radacovsky brings this brilliant Symphony alive full of force and fate.

"cheeky and funny and poignant at the same time." Jeffrey Kaczmarcyk
