Thanksgiving Apple Pie Workshops

Have you ever wanted to learn to make the Perfect Apple Pie? Take some of the complexity out of the holidays and join us at Marin Country Mart on Saturday November 19th at 9:30 a.m. for an authentic hands-on Apple Pie making workshop.

Participants will learn perfect butter crust making skills, explore the world of heirloom apples, taste apple pie and take home a creation they've made. Wow your guests with your own home made work of art pie!

Everyone will take home one handmade apple pie to freeze and bake fresh Thanksgiving morning (or any day you choose), with directions. Each course is $35 and includes Take-Home Pie, instruction, apple education, recipe cards and special treats from Marin Country Mart.
Meloni Courtway is a trained Pastry Chef, food writer and culinary instructor. She is winner of Martha Stewart's Best Bakers in America award and an active participant in the local food industry. She is also a budding urban homesteader with tales of the "farm" to share during this event.

Please bring a small cooler with ice to keep pie chilled, and your favorite apron. All other materials provided, but you're welcome to bring a rolling pin and pie dish if you have one you prefer!
