RULE OF is an ongoing series that premieres 7 brand-new 10 minute plays by 7 different writers. For each show, every playwright comes up with one rule, then the 7 playwrights create new plays using all 7 rules.

Rule 1 | COLIN'S RULE: Each playwright is a character in his/her own play, though he/she doesn't have to act in it.

Rule 2 | BRETT'S RULE: A prayer on page two.

Rule 3 | CHARLY'S RULE: A broken iPhone.

Rule 4 | LIA'S RULE: 3 A.M.

Rule 5 | JACK'S RULE: "You know what your problem is? ________"[;;writers, fill in the blank.];;

Rule 6 | NATALIE'S RULE: Spit-take OR triple-take.

Rule 7 | JEFF'S RULE: The play must end with the title of a Beatles song.
