DC Food System Tour
DC Food System Tour Departing from: DC Convention Center
From thriving urban gardens to national food and agriculture policy groups, DC has a lot to share with those interested in a just, healthy and sustainable food system. Join us on a visit to some of the fascinating projects and discuss some of the policy work going on in DC. Not only will you be inspired by what you see, but the tour is a great opportunity to network and get to know diverse colleagues interested in food systems and public health, as well as a chance for those new to APHA to come into the conference with some connections already made!
Please note the tour will be on SATURDAY, so make sure your travel plans get you to DC by Saturday morning.
Space is limited. If the cost is prohibitive, please email Rebecca Klein, rklein@jhsph.edu
