Short Stories Live returns with an afternoon of stories about courage, sacrifice, and acceptance. Alice Munro's "The Bear Came Over the Mountain," source for recent film Away from Her starring Julie Christie is read by Frank Corrado. Jean Sherrard, host and director, reads the tragicomic tour de forceGeorge Saunders', "The Falls." "The Treatment of Bibi Haldar" from Jhumpa Lahiri's Interpreter of the Maladies rounds out the program. Presented with ACT Theatre.
